What does the weekend work commitment look like?

As a premier vacation destination on Toledo Bend, our weekends are when the resort truly comes to life. Most roles require a consistent weekend schedule, including Saturdays and Sundays. While we strive to provide a healthy work-life balance with weekday time off, candidates should be prepared for the "all hands on deck" environment that occurs during our busiest guest check-in and event periods.

We offer rustic tent sites, fully-equipped RV sites, and luxurious glamping tents with amenities.

What kind of work environment should I expect (Indoor vs. Outdoor)?

Wildwood Resort spans 66 acres of nature, featuring stocked ponds, swimming pools, and lakeside cabins. Depending on your role, your "office" could be anything from a climate-controlled front desk to the great outdoors managing our boat launch or animal areas. If you enjoy a dynamic environment where you aren't stuck behind a desk all day, you will likely thrive here!

Do I need prior hospitality or resort experience to apply?

While experience in hospitality, food service, or maintenance is a plus, it is not always a requirement. At Wildwood, we value a positive "can-do" attitude and a passion for customer service above all else. We provide on-the-job training for many of our roles—including housekeeping, front desk operations, and groundskeeping—to ensure you feel confident and equipped to represent the resort.

Are there opportunities for growth or cross-training?

Yes! We are a multi-faceted business with departments ranging from culinary and events to maintenance and guest services. We frequently cross-train our team members so they can gain a variety of skills. For those looking for more than a seasonal role, we prioritize internal promotions and often transition high-performing seasonal staff into year-round or leadership positions.
